Propulsion modules are modules designed to move airships and landships. Modules are divided into two categories, landship propulsion and airship propulsion.

Airships[edit | edit source]

Propellers[edit | edit source]

Propeller[edit | edit source]

A steam-powered propeller, used to move the ship forwards and back.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Rate of coal consumption Operators
80 160 60 100 1 per 30 seconds 1(2)

Small Propeller[edit | edit source]

A little steam propeller, able to shift smaller ships.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Rate of coal consumption Operators
25 40 30 40 1 per 100 seconds 1

Large Propeller[edit | edit source]

A massive steam-powered propeller with a vertical chimney. This means it must have open space above it.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Rate of coal consumption Operators
160 250 130 270 1 per 18 seconds 2(3)

Engine Pod[edit | edit source]

This streamlined external engine pod has better performance than rear-mounted propellers but is somewhat vulnerable.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Rate of coal consumption Operators
120 280 80 200 1 per 20 seconds 2(3)

Sails[edit | edit source]

Sails only require crew to function but are more vulnerable than propellers.

Side sail[edit | edit source]

A simple but labour-intensive way of moving your ship around.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators
120 90 20 70 3(4)

Large side sail[edit | edit source]

A large fan-styled side-sail.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators
250 210 40 160 3(4)

Sail[edit | edit source]

Vertical mast with a sail.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators
130 120 20 100 2(3)

Topsail[edit | edit source]

A smaller/topsail variety of the standard square sail.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators
60 50 10 40 1(2)

Junk sail[edit | edit source]

Junk-styled sail.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators
120 130 25 90 2(3)

Large junk sail[edit | edit source]

Large junk-styled sail.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators
180 210 40 140 3(4)

Gaff sail[edit | edit source]

A gaff-rigged mast.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators
100 70 25 110 2(3)

Large gaff sail[edit | edit source]

A larger variant of the gaff sail.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators
120 90 30 130 2(3)

Huge gaff[edit | edit source]

A larger variant of the gaff sail.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators

Gaff sail with topsail[edit | edit source]

A large gaff sail with a topsail attached.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators

Triangular sail[edit | edit source]

Triangular sail rigged mast.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators
110 80 30 140 2(3)

Dhow sail[edit | edit source]

An efficient sail rigged in an eastern fashion.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators
210 220 70 270 4(5)

Lateen sail[edit | edit source]

A standard size triangular lateen.

A large triangular lateen sail.

Weight HP $ Propulsion Operators
170 150 60 190 3(4)

Legacy sails[edit | edit source]

These sails have been removed from the module list in 1.0.20. They are still accessible by loading an old ship that has them.
